This December 11 Spectacle presents an experiential show of music and art at The New Athenaeum Theatre to fundraise for a show in the upcoming Dunedin Fringe Festival.
Ōtepoti/Dunedin two-piece The Entire Alphabet brings you geometry and iridescence translated to sound. The continuous tone-scatter and harmonic deformation of Bugs’ bass guitar networks seamlessly with the hypnotic spiral beat-flip techniques of PMK on the drums. From dense fuzz to crystalline sparseness. All the colours of the alphabet. All the numbers of the rainbow. Accompanying the sonic journey there will be visual projection installation created by Jess Covell.
We will also be hosting a silent auction with works from four local Ōtepoti/Dunedin artists Damo Smith, Holly Aitchison, Jess Covell and Taarn Scott + donated goods from local businesses Emersons Brewery, WOOF!, Relics, Grid Coffee Roasters, Beam Me Up Bagels, Rialto Cinemas, Miss Reid Florist and OCHO.
