Our April show features the work of three more local songwriters.
Dee - is an alternative-acoustic singer-songwriter based in Wellington, who is inspired by the world and the city of artists in which they live. They are captivated by the human experience and use music to explore its intangible nature.
Southgate Ridge - is “social issues comedy country folk” (new genre alert!) fronted by Nigel Parry. They can play anything from easy listening favourites to hard hitting songs about greed, being homeless, the environment, having a bad day and having a bad gig.
Rubita - Rubita are an energetic, galactic-indie-pop 5 piece band. Their debut album ‘Distinctive Thrill’, which was released in 2020 September and was followed by sold out shows across New Zealand.
