Social Improv Now

SIN (NZ Comedy Guild Award-nominated Best Improv show 2018) is back! Proudly presented by Cassette Nine, Social Improv Now is an all-welcome improv night designed to blur the lines between audience and performer… because the audience are the performers.

The show is hosted by returning Nz Comedy Guild nominated Best MC 2019, Steven Lyons (Virtually There host and Second City Theatricals, Laugh Out Loud Chicago & ComedySports Chicago Alum) but this show is really about YOU!

The audience are invited (but not pressured) up to perform a variety of short improvised games and scenes. There is no pressure to get up, you can be part of the show just by watching and having a good time, trust us the performers in the room love you for it.

BUT if you do want to get up ALL skill levels are welcome, whether you’ve taken classes, performed with friends or headlined improv festivals or have just always wanted to give it a try. It’s joy, connection and passion, while feeling safe to make delightful choices on stage in front of a supportive crowd.
