From early Maori and European voyagers, to settlers, surveyors and soldiers, John’s book, 'Singing the Trail', unearths little-known and fascinating histories of this country contained in beautiful and extraordinary maps.

The 2021 Marlborough Book Festival runs from 7pm Friday 9 July through to 4.30pm Sunday 11 July with a range of author sessions on across at the weekend at the ASB Theatre, Blenheim. More info at the Marlborough Book Festival website.
