New releases from the complantation domaine. Domaine Marcel Deiss championed the revival of this ancient practice and has elevated complantation, or field blends, to the top levels. Discover their latest bottlings entirely from complanted vineyards - picked as one and fermented together. The entire array of Alsace varieties is employed in the domaine’s expressions of village and site. Starting with two varietal wines from 2016 representing where they came from, we then move to the new Alsace Nature, and will explore the concept of complantation through two village wines Riquewihr and Ribeauvillé, three of what Deiss is calling their ‘1er Cru’ sites (Engelgarten, Rotenberg & Langenberg), finishing with Grand Cru Altenberg de Bergheim 2015.
