Ranger for a Day at Halswell Quarry

Join the Park Rangers at Halswell Quarry and get into some hands on history! Make erupting volcanoes and mokihi/canoes, learn about the traditional Maori uses of wetland plants and help catch and release eels on this amazing day out.

Bring warm clothes, a jacket, hat, drinking water and sturdy shoes.

Children's tickets are $5 each, you MUST register your attendance by booking a ticket on eventfinda.
Event FREE for parents/guardians/caregivers, do not purchase a ticket. You MUST stay with your child for the duration of the event.

Event will be cancelled in event of bad weather.
