Poetry at the Fringe

May's programme starts, as always, with the Open Mic session. From 5pm we showcase our guest artists. Guest musicians this month are Wellington duo Unity, a live music duo comprising Glenn Conroy and Gary McFadyen. They play popular covers from a range of genres as well as their own original songs. Guest poet Alan Wells is a diverse performer – poet, sound poet, avant-songwriter and throatsinger. He is also a music reviewer and photographer. Alan’s work displays a curious and insightful eye, so we are in for an intriguing show.
