The National Piano Concerto Competition has been postponed, but we have gathered the finest of the Christchurch competitors together to perform excerpts from famous, lyrical piano concertos including Tchaikovsky #1, Rachmaninoff #2, Chopin #1 and Medtner #2. Don’t miss this eloquent playing of the two grand pianos in the Great Hall.
This concert is part of The Great Hall Lunchtime Concert Series 2021. Showcasing a remarkable line-up of renowned local, national and international artists performing in a beautiful heritage venue.
