Vana Manasiadis (Greece-Aotearoa) invites you to put on your coat and step out into the winter air. Come wander through a pocket of incredible local, native, ancient bush, respond to prompts and provocations by writers Nic Low, Kerry Donovan Brown and Michaela Keeble, engage your senses and respond to space, history and deep time – and write. The walk will end with shared kai at Park Ranger cafe, kōrero and a sharing of writing (optional!) You'll also have the chance to collaborate on a collective poem to be published by our Magazine-in-Residence, takahē, and all will be welcome to work on this afterwards in the takahē space, on the ground floor at Tūranga (see [link] for details of our magazine programme).

All-weather event, please dress appropriately for the day. Meet at Riccarton House.
