Enjoy working with fabrics and combining colours to make a quilt. Learn how to use ‘strip piecing’ (using the sewing machine), applique and other techniques to create a quilt that will have impact. You will make your own quilt, or another project, using colours and fabrics of your choice. Prior to the start of the course the tutor will contact you to discuss the materials required.
About the tutor, Kay Barber:
Kay has a passion for working with fabric and colour and has made many quilts and articles using different quilting techniques. She has successfully completed courses in Tailoring and Design as well as Patchwork courses. She has also completed courses in Adult teaching.
