Palmerston North - Earrings & Pendants

This great one day class runs from 10am - 4pm with a lunch break.

It is an ideal workshop for beginners but experienced students are also welcome!

Students will practice making earrings (stud or drops) in copper or brass then make a pair (or more) of textured silver earrings in sterling silver. If time and interest allows, students can use the same techniques to create simple pendants to suspend on a chain or cord.

They will learn cutting, texturing, forming and soldering and finishing techniques to make beautiful, wearable pieces for themselves or for gifting to a lucky person.

Extra materials, solid silver chains and cord are available to purchase in the workshop. This is a one-day class aimed at either providing a fun experience with a great result, or providing a good grounding in basic jewellery techniques and earring hook making (findings) for those who want to develop their skills.

Kids aged 12 (or so) are welcome to attend the class, but any person under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled parent or caregiver.
