Our Magical Scarves: Exploring Musical Activities

This workshop will explore a range of musical activities that incorporate ‘non-musical’ apparatus such as bubbles, play parachute and fabric to support clients’ sensory needs as well as encourage independent participation.

The workshop would be of interest to music teachers working in early childhood education, community musicians who work with groups of young children and music therapists who work with groups of clients who have additional needs. Some of the activities and content is transferable to aged care so may be of interest to those who work within this sector.
