Original Clothing 1908 - 1928

The Pointon Collection of Vintage Cars & Costume has a new display showing original clothing worn in the era of the Ford Model T. From Edwardian ankle-length skirts through to the late 20's when you might show a little knee. As hemlines rose, necklines dipped and sleeves disappeared.

We are showing skirts & blouses for day, beaded party dresses for evening, plus bridals gowns. Fabulous styles, gorgeous fabrics and all shown with original accessories.

In 1926 Coco Chanel was quoted as saying "The Little Black Dress is like a Model T, it will take you anywhere". So yes we show several LBD's and a couple of Model T's. There's more for the car enthusiast of course, cars, motorcycles, garage gear & automobilia.
