NZ Offshore Powerboat Championship Final

The final round of the 2021 NZ Offshore Powerboat Championship Series at Whitianga will see two half-hour races first race is 12.30 pm and the second race is 1.30 pm best viewing from Buffalo Beach reserve. The boats will arrive into Whitianga on Friday and will be on display around the town. You can meet the drivers at the meet n greet at Smittys Bar & Grill on the Friday night from 5.30pm onwards.

Set up on Saturday morning will be on the Buffalo Beach reserve. You can view the boats before and after the race on the reserve. If you would like to be part of the event we are looking for Patrol and Marker boats please contact us if you are keen on info@nzoffshore.co.nz. Due to COVID, we had to cancel our event in Whitianga last season we were due to run this event on the 6th March this time we have had to postpone the event till the 29th March this is the reason we are running this event so late. Whitianga has always been an exciting race to watch with big swells you will see plenty of action on the water. We are expecting 15-20 entries for the two races.
