A weekend of vocal competitions featuring local and visiting singers, in the Capitaine Bougainville Theatre, Forum North, Whangarei.
Sessions:
Friday 8 October: 11.00am, 3.00pm and 6.00pm - Vocal Groups session
Saturday 9 October: 9.00 am, 1.00pm and 6.00pm
Sunday 10 October: 9.00 am, 1.00pm and 6.00pm
Northland Performing Arts Competitions are an annual festival of dance, music and speech & drama offering a forum for children, students and adults to perform and compete against one another.
The 2021 festival sections are:
Dance:
- Jazz & Tap Dance: 3 - 5 September CANCELLED
- Ballet: 10 - 12 September CANCELLED.
Music:
- Vocal Junior, 12 years and under: 11 - 12 September
- Vocal Intermediate & Senior, 13 years and over: 24 - 26 September
- Piano & Instrumental: 2 - 3 October.
Speech & Drama: 17 - 19 September CANCELLED.
