Northland Performing Arts Competitions: Jazz & Tap Dance: CANCELLED

Sadly, due to the current Covid-19 situation, we have cancelled the 2021 Jazz & Tap Dance Competitions.

A weekend of modern jazz and tap dance competitions featuring local and visiting dancers in the Capitaine Bougainville Theatre at Forum North. Entries have closed for this competition.

Sessions:
Friday 3 September: 11.00am, 2.30pm and 6.30pm
Saturday 4 September: 8.00 am, 11.45am, 3.15pm and 7.00pm - Groups & Troupes session
Sunday 5 September: 8.00am, 11.30am and 3.00pm approx.

Northland Performing Arts Competitions are an annual festival of dance, music and speech & drama offering a forum for children, students and adults to perform and compete against one another.

The 2021 festival sections are:
Dance
- Jazz & Tap Dance: 3 - 5 September CANCELLED
- Ballet: 10 - 12 September CANCELLED.

Music
- Piano & Instrumental: 2 - 3 October
- Vocal Intermediate & Senior, 13 years and over: 8 - 10 October
- Vocal Junior, 12 years and under: 16 - 17 October.

Speech & Drama: 17 - 19 September CANCELLED.
