Get outdoors in majestic woods of East Harbour Regional Park and visit our Scouts at the Butterfly Creek Tea Kiosk.

We’ll share the stories about unique plants and animals that call Butterfly Creek home as you venture along the peaceful valley. Spoiler alert: Butterly Creek is not full of butterflies, but trust us, there’re a lot of treasures to be found. See several species of the native orchids, Nikau palms, majestic Rimu trees and try spotting Kākā, tūī and kākāriki.

Support Eastbourne Scouts by purchasing some delightful afternoon tea with freshly-made scones from the reimagined Tea Kiosk at Butterfly Creek picnic area. The original kiosk ran from 1936 till the 1950s.

Brought to you by Greater Wellington Regional Council.
