Founded in 1941 as part of the VAD movement, the New Zealand Red Cross Choir sang at Montecillo Home to recuperating soldiers from WWII and held concerts in the Concert Chamber of the Dunedin Town Hall to raise money for voluntary aid purposes.

Nowadays, the Choir is made up of a wonderfully diverse group of women from all walks of life who enjoy singing and share an empathy with humanity and serving the New Zealand Red Cross, several of whom who have been in the group for forty years.

Join them for an afternoon of song from their varied repertoire including Thank You For the Music, Peace Song and Song of Friendship and Sounds of Silence.

This is a beautiful afternoon held in out light-filled atriums. Join us and connect with your community.
