Navigating Space – Screen Printing

A Matariki-inspired school holiday activity.

Suitable for children aged 7-12, your young space explorer will design and make their own screen-printed item inspired by the legend of Matariki and the other wonders of the galaxy. There’s lots more to explore at Space Place with interactive exhibits, a planetarium screening, badgemaking and space karaoke!

Bring your own pre-washed and ironed cotton t-shirt or tote bag to print your design on to. All other materials provided.

Adult caregivers are asked to drop off tamariki 10 minutes before the programme begins.
