Albatross and spoonbills, finches and ducks, Dunedin has some lovely birds and some gorgeous locations to visit them in!

Join Cody Phillips, Collection Manager Natural Science, on a gallery-based tour of Dunedin’s birding hotspots. You don’t need any level of fitness for this birdwatching tour! Using the dioramas and displays in Nature Galleries, we’ll explore the birds that live in the Dunedin area, and talk about some beautiful and accessible spots you can visit to see them in real life.

Cody is one of our favourite staff speakers, endlessly knowledgeable, engaging, and interesting; come along and learn more about Otago’s native birds from an expert.

Nature Dallery, meet at Info Desk.

This event will take place at Alert Level 2. Bookings are essential, limited tickets are available to this event. Level 2 restrictions apply, all attendees are required to scan in, social distance and to wear a face covering at all times during this event.
