When romance writer Felicia Fargo, writing under a pseudonym, wants to change direction and give up the fluff of romance writing to write crime novels under her real name, she comes face to face with a formidable enemy, her mother!

Felicia’s change in direction has unintended fatal consequences for a number of people who are close to her, often with very dark and hilarious results. In time honoured fashion, Felicia must solve the mystery herself to prove her innocence, all while fighting her addiction to chocolate.
