Movies in Parks is a series of free family movie nights in Palmy neighbourhoods throughout the summer. Grab the picnic basket, beach chairs and the whānau for a great night out. Bunnythorpe Family Church will be offering activities, a Bouncy Castle from 5:30pm, and the Carboard box Car competition.

Find yourself a cardboard box and get creating an epic car to watch the movie in - prizes to be won too!

Determined to make her own path in life, Princess Merida (Kelly Macdonald) defies a custom that brings chaos to her kingdom. Granted one wish, Merida must rely on her bravery and her archery skills to undo a beastly curse.

Directed and co-produced by Mark Andrews and Brenda Chapman, Brave is rated PG and is 1 hour 33 minutes long.

This is an outdoor movie, so in case of bad weather check the PNCC Facebook page for updates.
