A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... we tried very hard not to breach copyright and hold a May the 4th celebration.
Join us on the Mezzanine Floor of The Library in paying homage to all things Star Wars.
Celebrate with Virtual Reality, board and computer games. Displays, videos, figurines, interactive technology, crafts and trivia.
Dressing up is totally encouraged.
Things really kick off after 5.30 pm when The Palmerston North Knights, (the local chapter of the New Zealand lightsaber guild) make an appearance.
They will teach you how to handle a lightsaber and some basic fighting moves.
