The day starts with a Dawn Karakia at 6:00am and finishing about 1.30pm with a hangi for lunch. There will be many workshops throughout the morning around the marae. All are welcome. It is a free event just come down for the morning. There will be flax weaving, frybread making, demonstrations of carving and mau rakau, marae and matariki stories and presentations throughout the morning. Breakfast and lunch all on site.
