Acclaimed international violinist Natalia Lomeiko returns to New Zealand for a series of concerts with leading New Zealand pianist Sarah Watkins, in a joyful evening of dances, melodies, and brilliant duos.
This concert features the elegance and sparkle of Mozart; lyrical romanticism of the great Russian composers Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky; a contemporary twist on a dance by Aucklander Josiah Carr; and the effervescent, tuneful Scandinavian sounds of one of Grieg’s most exuberant sonatas. Enjoy chamber music in the intimate space and acoustic of the Pah Homestead, performed by two artists of the highest calibre.
