Emerging writers share their stories to publication. Rachel Kerr, author of Ockham-longlisted 'Victory Park', chose a traditional road to publication – doing a writing course and submitting to a publisher, while Lucy Revill ('The Residents: Made in Wellington') wrote over 150 blogs and chose to self-publish. Philippa Cameron ('A High Country Life') started by building a fanbase on Instagram and then sought a publishing house to publish her book.

Catherine Robertson (owner of Good Books bookshop in Wellington, and author of seven books, six of which were #1 New Zealand bestselling novels) will explore the three authors’ routes to publication, their experiences, and their tips for new writers coming through.
