Little Food Fest

After taking a break of a few years the Old School Little Food Fest will be back to celebrate the Raglan Arts Weekend (RAW) 2021.

The market, which will have local craft brewers Workshop Brewery as its anchor, will host a dozen or so food stalls.

The Old School Arts Centre classrooms will house a number of RAW artists over Labour Weekend and the Little Food Fest will set up in the carpark for Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th of October.
The idea, says organiser Deb King, is to offer visitors locally, fresh, authentic kai to either to eat on site, to take away or to eat later.

“We have a selection of food vendors coming along, some will be familiar to people who attend the creative market – Raglan Falafel, Taunga Kereru, Morning Glory coffee, Te Kowhai food truck’s Bao Buns, Dizzy Blocks, Raglan Bagels, PB23. New stalls include Sascha’s Kaiwaka Kitchen and Ruby Ralph’s Treacle Raglan – truly yummy, handcrafted cakes.

“We have a couple more unconfirmed but popular stalls. Plus a couple of local surprises, who will be launching their vegan boutique & gourmet plant-based curry sauces and fingers’ crossed, cheeses”.
”We’re very fortunate this year that local craft brewers the Workshop Brewery have agreed to join us and we’ll have a dedicated area where patrons will be able to try their range of craft beers and local spritzers.

"Raglan is always crowded during Labour Weekend but the Little Food Fest will offer a great variety of really good food and drinks in the Old School grounds in Stewart Street.:

So why not beat the queues in the village and head up to the Old School, not only for a bite to eat and a drink, but to take in some of the art on show?
