I looked rough, tanned and scared, we worked hard over summer...
I look soft, pale and subtle, my mind is working now but my body is hibernating.

I have begun my retreat,
we have a lot of planning,
festering
and healing to do...
.
I am not to be upset
I am not to be unhappy
.
This is not a poem
I haven't had a lot time to
Reflect.
.
I was going to have my phone go off for poetic effect.
.
This week has been a lot on my head
and my heart.
Hope is an ugly word
and I have had an endless unhinged hunger.
Nothing hurts anymore
it just is
.
I don’t worry about
love for me.
I trust.
.
Sorry I haven’t been around to help,
I’m just gonna concentrate on work and
quietly sob in my room when I have moments spare
to be home
.
I’m weary
I’m worn
I’m worried.
I’m wrong
