Introduction to Thai Yoga Massage
Learn how to massage. No prior experience necessary. Massage Therapists and enthusiasts welcome.
After a great turn out with more than 70 people attending the last workshop (Auckland, 31st Dec 2020) Gabriel return with a new workshop crafted for a much smaller group.
Join us for a morning session full of practical hands-on learning on a Saturday morning. An Introduction to Thai Yoga Massage to deliver an amazing massage, learn new skills, make friends and family feel wonderful.
What to expect:
You will be learning about this art ancient that promotes health and well being. The workshop will focus on the basic fundamentals that relate to posture, body mechanics and benefits.
This session will cover technics and positions that work with the general body.
The therapy does not require any oil or cream and the therapist/recipient will be wearing comfortable clothes. We'll havyoga mattress available on the day but bring your own if you prefer.
A bit about the Facilitator Therapist - Gabriel Morales has over 15 years of experience as a Remedial Massage Therapist. He has worked in a number of SPAS in Rotorua and had taught TYM in Europe, NZ and South America where he is originally from.
Why - To learn how to massage friends and family.
How - You will be working with a partner (bring your own if you want or we'll partner you up on the day), alternating between doing and receiving the massage.
