Explore Japanese culture through Kokeshi dolls! Participants will be designing and painting their wooden dolls with the tutor's guidance and will take home their very own unique creation.

Engage with Ulemj a renowned local artist who resided in Japan for many years. Ulemj is excited to be able to share her experiences with you and give you a practical and engaging way of exploring Japanese culture in a wonderfully sunny creative environment.

Ulemj grew up in Mongolia attending a Russian kindergarten and primary school. She travelled to the UK and went on to do further university studies in Japan. Living and studying in seven different countries in all has exposed her to an eclectic mix of cultures.
