This event has been turned into a series, with an Auckland based event and a Christchurch based event. Register below to attend the different sessions!

In partnership with Auckland Unlimited, Kiwibots are proud to present the 2020-21 VEX Robotics Competition National Championships!
The VRC Nationals is where we see teams across all NZ compete for qualification spots to VEX World Championships in Dallas, Texas 2021! This is the largest VEX Robotics Competition run in NZ each year, features industry exhibits in our STEM Expo and is open for public to visit and attend for FREE!

Never heard of a robotics competition before or realised it happens in NZ? Now's your chance - suitable for ages 5 to 85, we encourage all to come and join us this weekend and witness over 60 student teams from all over NZ fight it out with the top title of Tournament Champions and earn the honour of representing NZ on the global stage.
Of the last 11 yrs NZ has been competing on the international stage against 25,000 other teams, we have come away with a World title for 10 of those years!!!

The STEM Expo is a brilliant new addition to this event - all attendees of this event will get the opportunity to go through our STEM Expo that features a number of interactive and informative booths that showcase awesome things happening in the STEM industry, education and career opportunities, as well as Creation Stations where you can play with VEX robotics yourself and learn to build and drive a robot!
Some of our booths include Rocket Lab, Rocos, RUSH Digital, VR Voom, The University of Auckland Faculty of Engineering, CARES (Centre for Automation and Robotics Engineering Science), AJ Park, AUT, OMG Tech and so much more.
This may be of particular interest to many older high school students looking at tertiary study, or current university students who want to see the various grad programmes etc. out there.

We have some brilliant judges lined up and can't wait to share more information about this event as it unfolds in the next few weeks. Don't miss out on this chance to see Kiwi kids shine - we can't wait to see you there!
