POSTPONED TO JANUARY

Dur to COVID levels and uncertainties, the Kerikeri Open Art Studios Trail has been postponed until Auckland Anniversary Weekend, 29 - 31 January 2022.

KOAST is a wonderful artistic experience. Many exhibitors will have their studios open and this can give a unique and interesting perspective to the art works on exhibition. Where artists are unable to open their studios, they exhibit in one of the collective art hubs around the area.

Visitors attending the artist’s studios, galleries and collective art hubs, do help to support artists in their chosen profession. Visiting their studios enables artists to grow their customer base, and sell their artwork directly to art lovers and other interested parties. Each artist has something very special to offer a visitor.

So, do join us in the North – take a leisurely drive through the beauty of the Bay of Islands, and discover our artists in their creative environments. You could couple this experience with a Weekend Getaway, stay with one of our accommodation sponsors and visit one of the many boutique restaurants, cafes or wineries in the area.

You can purchase your $6.00 ticket (Trail Guide with a listing of all artists and a map) from shops around Northland and iSites in Whangarei, Paihia, Kawakawa, Kerikeri, Mangonui, Rawene and others shown on the website www.koast.org.nz. Note that one Trail Guide is needed per couple or two friends, so if there's a group of you, we'd really appreciate it if you would purchase more than one Guide to ensure this event can continue each year.
