Katherine Mansfield House & Garden Plant Sale & Open Day

Our annual sale of plants propagated from our heritage garden is always a popular event! Come along to see the variety of plants on offer and stay to enjoy our open day with entry by donation and sweet treats to celebrate the 133rd anniversary of Katherine Mansfield's birth in the house.

This event will go ahead at Level 2. There is no need to book to attend the plant sale as it is outdoors, but please book for entry to the house via the 'What's New - What's On' tab of our website.

MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS EVENT UNDER LEVEL 2:

As the plant sale is outdoors, you can attend the plant sale at any time throughout the day. You will need to scan in at the gate, wear a face covering (unless you have an exemption), and maintain physical distancing. We recommend bringing a bag or box to take your plants home in. We will be taking payment by Eftpos and cash.

However, we are running a booking system for entry to the house in order to manage numbers and facilitate physical distancing. There is no cost to book but we do ask for a donation on entry. Bookings will be for 30 minute visits and include the exhibition Still Life | Wild Places. Please note, you will need to wear a face covering during your visit (unless you have an exemption). You can book via the 'What's New - What's On' tab of our website.

If any session is not fully booked in advance, we will accept walk-ups until the session is full, but it's safest to book in advance.
