Jonathan Falconer - World's Dumbest Doctor

Award winning and critically acclaimed comedian Jonathan Falconer is bringing an hour of standup comedy to Christchurch.

A professional comedian with a doctorate in pharmaceutical chemistry, Jonathan Falconer's show is about how diplomas are overrated and being smart is stupid. He has an endearing mix of overconfidence and humility, with material that shines a light on his many weaknesses and what it means to be human. He often points out that we don't know as much about the world as we think we do. Although unverified, he claims to be the world's dumbest doctor.

He began his comedy career in Salt Lake City Utah, then New York City, and finally Dunedin, New Zealand the best city for surfing. He has featured on shows across the USA from California to NYC, Germany, and Australia. Recently, he's performed alongside some of New Zealand's biggest comedy icons including Ben Hurley and Urzila Carlson.
