Jazz at The Little Sprig

“juztjazz” is introducing MJ and the New Zeals to the jazz world. We are swinging into inspiring, creative action, pumping out our modern jazz grooves for the traditionalist and contemporary jazz /groove aficionados.

"MJ and the New Zeals" is a jazz/groove trio consisting of Malia Stewart on piano, Aaron Stewart on double bass and Andy Hoy(from Newtown Rock Steady) three graduates from the NZ School of Music with a Jazz Performance Degree who perform in Wellington and on the Kapiti Coast. Our music is a cool, smooth highly energetic jazz style, playing jazz standards with a modern groove.
