Primary School aged children in the Wanaka area have an amazing opportunity to learn the basics of how to write songs, brainstorm ideas and create music and lyrics. If your child shows an interest in music, rhythm, writing or they just want to learn a new skill....this is a wonderful opportunity to learn from one of New Zealand's top musical talents Jackie Bristow.
NZ born, Jackie started writing and performing her own songs with her sister in Gore at the age of 8. She toured regionally and nationally within the next few years. By her late teens she was touring and living in Australia.
Her next professional musical adventure was to live for several years in the USA, where she was touring, writing and recording in Nashville (the music heart of America) . With 5 albums under her belt, Jackie finds herself back on home turf and wanting to give back by sharing her musical passion with Otago children.

This programme is sponsored by YouthTown Trust and promoted by Turn Up The Music Trust
