About the course:
Through the beautiful teachings of Tantra you can learn how to transform your ordinary world into a pure world.

In the Tantric teachings Buddha explained how to transform our ordinary self into a pure self. The Tantric path helps us move away from our ordinary view of who we are and the ordinary idea of who we can become. It gives us step by step instructions of the inner transformation into a pure being.

If we are to achieve our spiritual potential we need to train in tantric technology using faith, imagination, and very skillful meditations to let go of the views that keep us limited and enjoy the experience of relating to our pure potential. This course is suitable for beginners and advanced. Everybody welcome!

The Teacher

The course will be taught by internationally renowned teacher and Kadampa Buddhist monk, Gen Kelsang Rabten. Gen Rabten is the NKT-IKBU National Spiritual Director of Kadampa Buddhism for New Zealand, Australia and South East Asia. He has studied and taught modern Kadampa Buddhism for more than 25 years. He is much loved for his insight, humour and practical explanations of meditation and Buddhism.

Due to the ongoing global pandemic and the current restrictions on entry into New Zealand, Gen Rabten will be unable to teach this course in-person. His teachings will be shown on a large screen at Kalpa Bhadra Buddhist Centre Christchurch.

The meditations will be lead in person by our Resident Teacher Kelsang Luma.

Booking is essential, so please book online now or contact the Centre to book your place.
