Intro to Tantra with internationally renowned Buddhist teacher Gen Kelsang Rabten

'Tantra is a special method to purify our world, our self, our enjoyments and our activities and if we put this method into practice we will very quickly attain enlightenment.

Because our world, our self, our enjoyments and our activities are the nature of our mind, when our mind is impure they are impure and when our mind becomes pure through purification practices they become pure.' Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Modern Buddhism

In the Tantric teachings Buddha explained how to transform our ordinary self into a pure self.
The Tantric path helps us move away from our ordinary view of who we are and the ordinary idea of who we can become.

It gives us step by step instructions of the inner transformation into a pure being.

In this course, Gen Kelsang Rabten will explain the Tantric path of wisdom and imagination which has the power to lead us to our potential of enlightenment.

If we are to achieve our spiritual potential we need to train in Tantric technology using faith, imagination, and very skillful meditations to let go of the views that keep us limited and enjoy the experience of relating to our pure potential.

Gen Kelsang Rabten is an internationally renowned teacher and Buddhist monk based in the UK. Gen Rabten has studied and taught modern Kadampa Buddhism for over 25 years. He is much loved for his insight, humour and practical explanations of meditation and Buddhism. As Gen Rabten cannot join us in person we will be screening his teachings at our Centre. The meditations will be led in person by our resident teacher Birgit.

This course is suitable for everyone, particularly those who are new to Tantra or are interested in taking a Tantric empowerment at this year's International Summer or Fall Festival.
