The Hokonui Culture Feast is a colourful celebration of international music, dance and food, perfect to brighten up the middle of Winter.
For delicious international food and music, dance, and workshops with an international flavour, don’t miss the Hokonui Culture Feast on Friday, 30 July starts at 5:30 pm. The family-friendly event at the Gore Town & Country will feature over 18 food stalls and activities for children and entertainment from various groups.
The doors open at 5:30 pm, and the opening ceremony starts at 5:45 pm, which gives people a chance to fill their bellies with delicious food and socialise before taking in the performances. The food stalls include Chinese, Pilipino, Colombian, Indian, Tongan, Malaysian, Jamaica, Nepalese, Kenyan, Thai and Kiwiana.
MAIN Artist Arabian Dance Jodie and Ash from The Base Southland are proud to bring you a Middle Eastern-inspired performance. With a background in dance, acrobatics and gymnastics, be amazed by the elegance, physical strength, grace & flexibility they bring to the stage.
