Hogsnort Bulldogs Goodtime Show - Enjoy Yourself Tour: CANCELLED

A night of toe-tapping fun and nostalgia coming to the Great Lakes Centre on 4th September featuring a band that includes original members of the hugely popular sixties and seventies hit bands.

- Hogsnort Rupert,
- Bulldogs Allstar Goodtime Band, and
- Dave and the Dynamos.

They’ll be performing their great chart-topping hits from the era including:

- Pretty Girl
- Miss September
- Aunty Alice Bought Us This
- Everyone Knows
- Life Begins at Forty

The tour follows their latest hit release "Enjoy Yourself" and will also feature other well-known skiffle songs, blues, and popular standards - all featured in a fast-paced two-hour show.

“We’re delighted to be bringing all our popular original songs and toe-tapping approach back to Taupo after a few decades absence” says founder and singer/songwriter, Dave Luther.

Aside from Dave and other founding members, Neil Worboys and Kevin Findlater, the band line-up also includes Dean Wishart on drums, who is the son of the original frontman Alec Wishart who sadly passed away a few years back” Dave says.

“We’re sure there’s bound to be a fair number of folks in the Taupo region who’d love to experience some happy nostalgia from the seventies… who want to spend a few hours smiling, laughing and tapping their shoes to tunes that evoke pleasant memories of what they were up to “back in the day”.
