Helicopter Fun Day

Back by popular demand - celebrate helicopters and all things rotary at the Air Force Museum this July school holidays!

Check out real helicopters and the equipment they use, climb into the pilot’s seat of an Iroquois, and watch incredible drones in action. With craft activities, face painting, and the chance to win a helicopter flight for two, you won’t want to miss this free entry, one-day-only event.

More exciting news - the Air Force's No 3 Squadron is planning to bring along two helicopters for public display – an A-109 and, for the first time, the awesome NH-90!*

Sensory-friendly session from 9.00am - 9.30am

Free entry with some additional paid-for activities available (including gold coin donation for face painting, etc).
EFTPOS available and preferred!

Although free parking is available at the Museum, we recommend those who can to use public transport due to expected high visitor numbers. Bus stops are conveniently located within minutes from the Museum. Please check our website above for a detailed description on how to get here.
