Hawke’s Bay Easter (Performing Arts) Festival

Proudly presented by the Napier Performing Arts Competitions Society the Hawke’s Bay Easter Festival showcases talent from upwards of 200 entrants from around the country competing in Ballet, Tap, Modern Dance, Instrumental, and Junior and Senior Vocal classes.

The Festival runs over the Easter weekend, from Thursday evening to Monday morning, and is a fantastic opportunity to witness stars in the making!

The Festival includes our prestigious Brayden Coldicutt Aria 2021 singing competition for accomplished vocalists aged 18 years and over with a prize pool of over $7,000.

With entry starting as low as $5 for Adults and $2 for Children per session the level of entertainment and value for money is outstanding. A wonderful experience to sit back, relax and enjoy a multitude of performing arts, as well as providing support to our young performers. Most sessions will be held at the Municipal Theatre with the Aria Preliminaries and Aria Finals to be held at the MTG Hawke’s Bay Century Theatre.

Cash sales for all tickets are available for purchase at the venue. Ticket prices for our senior vocal events range from $10 for the Recital Class, $15 for Aria Preliminaries and $25 for Aria Finals.
