Hamilton Blues Society NZ Special General Meeting before Thursday Blues Night 14 October 2021

Some housekeeping and administration is required before the Thursday Blues Night begins, simply to accept the Annual Financial Report prepared by our Treasurer, Mark Flyger, for the 2020-2021 financial year.

Especially planned to coincide with the Thursday Blues Night, pop down to Biddy's a little earlier to be involved with the SGM. If you cannot make the SGM, you can cast a proxy vote via email. More details will be sent prior to the meeting regarding proxy voting.

Thursday Night Blues gets underway from 7pm with music from 7:30pm.

Garry Spain will be Jam Captain on the night, leading the jammers on stage from 7:30pm until 8pm.

From 8pm stage access is whiteboard controlled. Whiteboard Controller Huw Alderman welcomes bandleaders who book in advance, send requests to hbs2events@gmail.com specifying your desired start time. Some times are very popular, so you may not get the exact time you desire. Each band has 20 minutes, or 3 songs, whichever finishes sooner. The start times around the clock being 8pm, 8:20pm, 8:40pm, 9pm, 9:20pm, 9:40pm, 10pm, etc.

As usual, child-friendly, raffles available, merchandise available so remember to bring some extra cash for raffle tickets.
