“Continuing my exploration into the emotional effect of light on the landscape, this exhibition celebrates the shifting light of one hour at dawn on Lake Manapouri.”
Along with the inevitable changes that take place as the sun moves from below the horizon to a place above us, this also takes in the atmospheric changes that occurred on that Fiordland autumn morning. From quiet, glassy, still, bays, passing showers, mist and low cloud to the more ruffled waters of wider spaces, and the effect of light reflected.
