Fruit Tree Planting and Wicking Garden Bed Workshop

Join local gardener, Ellen Schindler, as she demonstrates how to build a wicking garden bed and then plant a fruit tree on the Gribblehirst Commons. A wicking garden beds are very water-efficient and require less irrigation than standard garden beds. Once in place, a fruit tree will be planted and grown in this wicking garden bed, and then in a future workshop grafted with different fruit varieties. This is a FREE gardening workshop and all are welcome!
