Join the Friends of the Arts Centre for a Fundraising Film Night on Wednesday 11 August in aid of The Arts Centre.

There will be a glass of bubbles and some canapes in the upstairs bar at Lumière Cinemas at 6pm, followed by a private showing of the movie “How to Be a Good Wife” (La bonne épouse).

This is a French comedy-drama starring Juliette Binoche and is being released in early August 2021. It is about a woman who starts to question the suppressed status of females while running a housekeeping school for teenage girls in 1968 France.

All proceeds will go to the Friends of the Arts Centre, who support The Arts Centre.

Lumière Cinemas are located at 26 Rolleston Avenue. The screening will be in the Bernhardt Theatre which is located on the second floor, the bar is also located on the second floor. There is full accessibility access to the theatre via a lift, which is entered from the North Quadrangle.
