Flickering Stars EP Release Party - Evan Rhys

Come and celebrate Evan Rhys' brand new EP, 'Flickering Stars' as he and his full band take through the EP and other inspiring tracks. Evan Rhys’ music is like a series of photographs of the human condition: sometimes rich with colour and light; other times sepia and blurry. Whatever the emotion, honesty and hope cut through in Rhys’ brand new EP, ‘Flickering Stars’. ‘Truly Free’ hints at old school soul as Rhys celebrates the freedom that comes through brokenness. ‘Skyline’ begins the sweet and sour pop sojourn in a hook laden journey through finding hope in tight spaces. The EP’s final track, ‘Wonder’ is piano driven nouveau pop that is at once nostalgic and new in the same breath. The title track reaches anthemic heights in its exploration of self worth and alienation, with chiming guitars and guttural vocals.

Evan will be joined by young rising star, Sean Grieve and super talented local singer/songwriter, Craig Jones who will both open the night.
