In celebration of the films 20th anniversary, get ready to Feast Your Eyes on the cult-classic psychological thriller film DONNIE DARKO (2001), featuring a remarkable performance from Jake Gyllenhaal as the troubled title character. Join us on a funny, moving and distinctly mind-bending journey into our theatre for a unique and daring in-theatre dining experience themed around the film.

During the presidential election of 1988, a teenager named Donnie Darko sleepwalks out of his house one night and sees a giant, demonic-looking rabbit named Frank, who tells him the world will end in 28 days. When Donnie returns home, he finds that a jet engine has crashed into his bedroom. Is Donnie living in a parallel universe, is he suffering from mental illness - or will the world really end?

All tickets are $40 and include a themed cocktail and dessert* especially crafted for this event. Cocktails and desserts are served upon cinema entry. Once you have your cocktail and dessert, take a seat and enjoy our themed pre-show, inspired by the film.

The film will be screened on a beautiful 35mm film! Please note this is the original theatrical cut of the film that was released in cinemas. It will differ slightly to other home releases of the film.

Cinema doors will open at 7:15 pm for cocktail and dessert collection. The pre-shows kick-off at 7:25 pm and the feature film begin at 7:35 pm.
