We're back! And this year we have three supercool headline bands for you. We're delighted to welcome back the fun and funky Hipstamatics and Strangely Arousing with their reggae/ska vibe. And we're thrilled to have a dynamic, entertaining folk trio, Albi & The Wolves joining us too!

First up at 12:15, before the main stage opens, The Magic Playhouse will be performing their awesome children's play 'Magic in the Bush' (45 mins). If you have little ones, bring them along for a 12pm start!

Far North Summer Sounds is all about whanau, fun, great tunes and lots of dancing.
While this event is 'free', we would appreciate a suggested koha donation of $5 for adults to enable us to cover costs.

We'll have yummy food stalls, great children's entertainment from The Magic Playhouse and Mac's Patch Game Changers, and the beautiful summery setting of Kainui Vineyard.

We hope you, your friends and whanau can join us!

With a huge thank you to our sponsors, Far North District Council, LJ Hooker Kerikeri and Creative Communities for making this event possible. If anyone would like to chip in to allow us to make it even better, we have a Give A Little page.

This event is organised and hosted by Be Free Inc, supporting a Drug-Free Bay of Islands. Any money raised during Far North Summer Sounds will go towards running 'Be Free Youth' - our successful Free "Mentoring through Music" Programme for kids aged 12 to 19.
