Nicola Stewart has worked as a conservator in museums in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, and also in Antarctica. Presently, she is the Collections Officer at the Taupō Museum, responsible for the care and documentation of the artefacts in the museum’s galleries and stores.

In this talk Nicola Stewart will be telling the delightful history of one of Taupō Museum’s most significant and well-loved artefacts, the moa skeleton which has recently been re-displayed in the museum galleries. After the talk you are welcome stay on to view the skeleton for yourselves.
